Held many diversified posts- Preparing Management Plan of Forests, Tribal Development, Social Forestry, Wild Life Management, Ravine Reclamation, Watershed Planning and Treatment, and worked as a Consultant with Narmada Project and with International consultants. Participated in No. of International Conferences and chaired a sessions.
Expertise: Forestry, Watershed, Soil Conservation, Tribal Development, Social Forestry, Participatory Management, Preparing Bankable feasibility Reports and execution of projects.
Achievements in life
I am one of the fortunate to have played as a child on the shoulders of Mahatma Gandhiji at Sevagram, Wardha from 1940 to 1944.
I had immense job satisfaction in growing trees and conserving forestry and caring for wild life. I also contributed for the environment issues of Narmada project. Presenting papers in international conferences on the various forestry and allied issues.

Worked as a Teacher for almost 20 years in well-known English Medium School. Taught spoken English for those who are going abroad, conducted by Ahmedabad Productivity Council

Present Activity :I have attached myself with NGOs to do social

responsible for total administration of sports activities and sports infrastructures at IPCL for 3-decades. Contented to be a successful executive in the fields of T&D, Instrumentation, Personnel & Administration, implemented various improvements in IPCL schools.

NRIPA VADODARA

NRI parents Association of Gujarat was formed on 21st July 2002 by a group of concerned NRI parents who felt the need to promote the Association with following aims and objectives.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

• To promote fellowship goodwill and mutual support among members and
  others.


• To build a network of support in the areas of Health Care, Help in Ageing
  Processes, Cultural and Religious, legal help for protecting rights to
  properties and assets.


• To utilize the expertise, experience and resources of parents and their
  children for the benefit of the society at large.

With a view to achieve above objectives following activities are planned:

• Publication of Newsletter to promote contacts among parents and children.


• Arrange lectures, seminars, workshops to give information with regard to Visa,
  Passport, Medical Insurance, Foreign exchange regulation and other
  related topics.


• Contact the Government agencies, Foreign Missions and other related
  agencies to sort out the problems of NRI parents.


• Set up a small library of books, Magazines and journals and documents
  related to NRI affairs and helpful to them.
  

MEMBERSHIP
The membership is open to all those parents of NRI who are normally living
in the state of Gujarat and who are willing to subscribe to aims and activities
of the Association.

Membership will be in following categories:

• Life Membership


• Patrons

The Annual membership will be for the financial year 1st April to 31st March,
irrespective of joining any time during the year. Any Member can become a Life Member any time during the year

The executive committee may select a person of eminence to become
Patron of the Association
